Not made any cards today. I decided to try making my own chalk paint and painted a faux leather coffee table! Leaving it over night to dry and decide if I like it or not. It was dark brown and I have painted it cream. Will show a pics tomorrow of before and after.
Have just gone through all the Christmas cards I have made this year, turns out I have made more than I thought, about 30!!! Pleased with that, so I can now focus on some orders.
After looking on Pinterest last night I have woken with lots of ideas going through my mind! I rushed into town to buy bits of stuff I wanted. Got everything but the hessian/jute, but have ordered it and should have it next week and then I can start on some of my ideas.
Here is another Christmas card I made last year, using Lily of the valley image and Pink Petticoat papers.
Good Morning! We have the sunshine back today, no clouds.
Another Christmas card today. I made this one last year. I usually do a theme for my personal cards and last year it was the christmas cracker shape for all the grandchildren.
Today I have a new baby boy card to make for a Turkish couple.
It has been a very hot August here in Marmaris. Thankfully September has brought some cooler, slightly more comfortable weather.
I am slowly starting to make headway on my Christmas cards, seems early I know but I need to take them back to the UK in October. I will post some of them later.
I made this bunch of flowers last week using an origami technique.
I love the colour of this ink from Tim Holtz. I tried to make this card look like a book. Although I do have the bookatrix board I didn't use it for this one.
